Personal Journal: Night Sentinel

This matte softcover journal features a striking cover: a lone tree behind an old stone wall, set against a deep, moody sky.

Artist's Note: On a night full of shooting stars during August’s perseid meteor showers, one of my dearest friends and I kept count as we talked late into the night. When I leaned out to close my shutters, after retiring to my guestroom, the sight of this magnificent tree stopped me in my tracks. Standing like a sentinel in the night, it was enshrouded by the night sky yet singled out by a bright shaft of moonlight.
